After a hearty breakfast at the lodge, prepare for an exciting day exploring the wonders of Victoria Falls. Your guided tour will take you to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you will witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of the falls themselves. Known locally as “Mosi-oa-Tunya” (the Smoke that Thunders), Victoria Falls is one of the largest and most spectacular waterfalls in the world, offering breathtaking views and a powerful display of nature’s force. Spend the morning marveling at the various viewpoints along the falls, capturing photos of the misty rainbows and listening to the thunderous roar of the water cascading into the gorge below. After the tour, you will have free time to explore the local crafts market for souvenirs or participate in optional activities such as helicopter rides over the falls. Later in the afternoon, enjoy a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, where you can unwind with a drink and snacks, enjoying the scenic beauty as the day winds down.
After breakfast, checkout from A’Zambezi River Lodge and prepare for your transfer to Kasane, Botswana. Upon arrival, you’ll receive a warm Botswana welcome from our team. After the boat cruise, we leave Kasane and begin our journey at a game drive pace, keeping an eye out for wildlife and birds as we head towards our campsite.
